Roller Bench

The test on the roller bench allows the real measurement of the power delivered by the engine. The more the bench is precise, the more reliable the result will be. For this reason, our Soft-Engine test bench presents the Single roller solution, the one in which the car wheel rests on the top of the roller and not in the center of the rollers. This solution is more technical and efficient than the traditional system, the specific pressure of the tire is lower and allows for long and reliable tests. It is also equipped with the SYNCRO system, a system for synchronizing the speed of the front module rollers with that of the rear module rollers. In this way it is possible to carry out bench tests in any condition despite the presence, in the latest generation vehicles, of advanced "Traction control" systems. Finally, thanks to the three electromagnetic brake modules, it allows realistic braking tests by applying the friction coefficient for road simulation and the aerodynamic coefficient at high speeds. |
